DR Makes Its Debut with a More Flexible Approach to Industrial Monitoring
A key highlight of this year’s exhibition was the DR Distributed Recorder. Built around a distributed architecture consisting of MeshGate and SensNode, DR incorporates BrainChild Mesh* wireless technology, allowing SensNodes to be deployed close to equipment and monitoring points based on actual site requirements. This approach helps reduce the installation and distance constraints associated with conventional centralized wiring.
From individual equipment monitoring to distributed, multi-point measurement across larger facilities, DR brings wireless connectivity, distributed deployment, and centralized management into a unified system architecture. With capabilities including Web Server access, historical data management, and OPC UA connectivity, DR can also interface with SCADA, MES, and other higher-level systems, providing a more flexible foundation for industrial monitoring and data management.
